Pausing To Share…Day One

You ever put an item on your bucket list and you are hopeful but won’t be disappointed if it doesn’t happen?

I have often lived vicariously through watching shows that were made from the 1800’s; daydreaming of what would it be like to have lived back then.

But then I shook off that possibility when I remembered: no electricity and no Walmart.

Last year I was supposed to take this trip with some family but COVID put me on time out. Thank God for travel insurance, all my funds were returned.

I erased the trip from my thoughts until my eldest daughter asked ‘What do you want to do for your 60th birthday.

I replied without thinking, “Hey want to go to Paris and London?”
